What Kind of Friends Do You Have?

Don't spend major time with minor people.
If there are people in your life who continually disappoint you, break promises, stomp on your dreams, are too judgmental, have different values and don't have your back during difficult times...that is not friendship.

To have a friend, be a friend.
Sometimes in life as you grow, your friends will either grow or go. Surround yourself with people who reflect values, goals interests and lifestyles.

When I think of any of my successes,
I am thankful to God from whom all blessings flow, and to my family and friends who enrich my life.

Over the years my phone book has changed because I changed, for the better.
At first, you think you're going to be alone, but after awhile, new people show up in your life that make it so much sweeter and easier to endure.

Remember what your elders used to say:
"Birds of a feather flock together.
If you're an eagle, don't hang around chickens:
Chickens can't fly!"

Struggle With Bitterness Before Sweetness Comes

I'll preserve my time to remain blogging while I'm able to. I'd like to dedicate this piece with one of my students, whom is currently in mainland China obtaining her Master.

A man found a cocoon of a butterfly, that he brought home. One day a small opening appeared he sat and watched the butterfly for several hours. It struggled to force its body through that little hole. Then it seemed to stop making any progress. It appeared as if it had gotten as far as it could and it could go no further. So the man decided to help the butterfly. He took a pair of scissors and snipped off the remaining bit of the cocoon. The butterfly then emerged easily, but, it had a swollen body and small, shriveled wings. He continued to watch the butterfly, he expected that, at any moment, the wings would enlarge and the body would contract. Neither happened!

In fact, the butterfly spent the rest of its life crawling around with a swollen body and shriveled wings. It was never able to fly. The man acted with well-intentioned kindness but he didn't understand the consequences. The restricting cocoon and the struggle required to get through the tiny opening, were nature's way of forcing fluid from the body of the butterfly once it achieved its freedom from the cocoon. Sometimes struggles are exactly what we need in our life. If we were to go through life without any obstacles, it would cripple us. We would not be as strong as we could have been and we could never fly.

So the next time you are faced with an obstacle,
a challenge, or a problem, remember the butterfly.
Struggle a little - then fly!

Bentley University

It became Bentley University at last. Been busy scrutinizing the Wall Street. It has a big impact to us in the Main Street. With the corresponding to all these mergers and acquisitions, them big boys in Downtown are dropping them berries to the bears. Busy October is coming with the October fest down here and there. Weddings are around at the same time. Wish those of you, whom are getting down with the ring and seeing one spouse forever, the best of luck and life. The toys companies are fighting each other with the latest technology in the mobile world by beating each other off with only a better function, such as 8MP camera, which we all need; and touch screen.. Oh yea.. when you are stuck in the rain and experiencing an emergency situation, guess what... Your little touch screen mobile phone will not even be functioning for all the dropping waters are coming down on your little sophisticated machine.. REGARDLESS.... Womanizer is out! I knew she'd make a big come back, and it's gonna be better than ever.

Everything has been great with family, little lady, new car, and I. Nothing we can complain for and as long as we have food to consume, garments to wear, and a great transportation in the snow (can't wait for it), God is to be thanked. Holidays are coming with the election, turkey day, black friday, Christmas, and the happy day, we all need a little peaceful moment before we all going on strike should that 72yr old takes the seat at the oval office. I'd rather have the Barobama takes the stand, while Palin becomes more extravaganza with her posing for playboy than her little daughter, whom just given birth without a commitment with the boy up in Alaska. Politics ain't my field, but I only worry about my personal life as well as the career due to they all based on the man that takes the office.

After 8 months of dissappearing

Update after eight consecutive months of not having a day job.
Graduating from college wasn't as serious as everyone has said. Didn't feel anything serious personally, but it feels weird as no more lecture or paper to haunt me every day and night. Sister is all grown up. my words sometimes no longer applicable for what she does. More and more spams are present and leave random comments here.
Starting at the new place as a small monkey cube. Training is in another 2 weeks. Really looking forward for the training as I could start to solve new claims as I'd complete the 2 weeks training. I can't really expose what is going on at the workplace as it's considered as breaching the contract for expliciting pouring the intra-situations. Privacy is everything nowadays. Just watched "Untraceable" and it's a must-see movie for it does happen in today's world of high technology in this world.
Living together with the little lady now and it's been great for our time is not apart as for the past 2 years. The food that she makes is yummm..
Proud for my little aunt of her little boy.
An environment can shape you of who you are, how you treat others, and how you are seen, as well as who you have become. My adaptation toward new environments are very fragile. I learn everything rather fast; therefore, it only takes 2 mins to lose my previous skill. For instance, my English has become less provocative???? at this moment as I've been speaking more of the mother tongue with the little lady for the past month. I guess I have to write in here more often to improve my communication skill as my job requires it along with great attitude and interpersonal skill. Welcome to day job.
